The Joint Aviation Authorities (JAA) record over 50 years of aviation history which defines the unique understanding of heritage and professionalism that shapes the modern JAA Training Organisation (JAA TO) of today.
Through JAA TO, ECAC-Member CAAs have access to the widest – and most up-to-date – portfolio of regulatory training solutions ensuring maximum preparation and qualified professionals. Click below to read about JAA TO’s full capacity.
During the mid-1990’s, the JAA started the first training activities as workshops for Civil Aviation Authorities (CAAs), to provide transparency and help with implementation of the Joint Aviation Requirements (JARs). Such activities soon became well-known and aviation industry representatives requested participation in the workshops. These activities then transferred into a number of JAA training courses.
Since JAA TO became an Associated Body of ECAC in 2009, it has been steadily growing and been awarded and recognised by the most important institutions and organisations in the aviation sector. It has developed strategic relationships within the aviation industry globally as well as regional training centres.
Today, JAA TO offers a wide range of training courses on European and international aviation safety rules and regulations, targeted at both authority and industry personnel, aiming to help improve aviation safety worldwide and to promote the understanding of existing and new aviation regulations.
JAA TO is the non-profit, self-financing Associated Body of the European Civil Aviation Conference (ECAC).
